Built for a tough world Henry uses a satin hard chrome plating that’s permanently bonded to the steel underneath that doesn’t flake chip peel and has a corrosion resistance that actually exceeds some stainless steel. Not only does this increase surface hardness but it also reduces friction on moving parts to take our already smooth action to the next level. Details are important so even the screws are stainless.
While Henry remains partial to their genuine American walnut stocks they’ve opted for a stained hardwood with a carefully engineered coating that is formulated to stand up to wear tear scratches moisture temperature variations and the angst of the various “character marks” that an everyday outdoor tool will inevitably pick up during its lifetime. This is the finish you want for a rifle that might be “rode hard and put away wet.”
For some added utility these rifles are configured with a side loading gate to make loading and keeping the magazine topped off as easy as possible. However the magazine tube is still removable for safe easy unloading.

Purchasing through Labascus Armory is simple—just four quick steps:

You’ll select FFL during checkout. You may need to ask the dealer to email a signed copy of their FFL to [email protected], referencing your order number. They must also authorize shipment to their address. This is a general list of FFL dealers and not necessarily a list of who we ship to.
When your firearm arrives, visit the FFL to complete the ATF Form 4473, background check, and any state paperwork. Bring valid photo ID (and permits, if required), pay the dealer’s transfer fee and taxes, then head to the range with your new purchase!

Best Rifle I have ever owned –
I have had multiple rifles in my life. This one feels the best when shooting and is comfortable with easy-to-use features. It is well-made and shoots true. Compared to other rifles I have owned, you can see the attention to detail in the design and construction. Henry takes the extra effort to make their products just better. I fell in love with it from the first shot. And ever since using it, I have had to have one. Now I do, and I love it.
